Dr. Daniel Parker, son of Stephen Parker, born in Billerica October 28, 1806. He took his M.D. at Bowdoin College in 1833 and practised in his native town from 1840. He married Mary E. Bryant, daughter of Nathan Bryant of Bedford, September 23, 1844, and wrote the poem for the town's Bi-Centennial in 1855. He died January 6, 1890, aged 83.
